The Loctite 5083 One-Part Potting & Encapsulating Compound - 200 ml is an instant bonding compound. This self-leveling, instant bonding compound flows easily and helps in encapsulation, sealing applications as well as potting. The medium viscous encapsulating compound works well for light curing. It is very important to expose the compound to light and a specific proper wavelength and intensity to allow better curing. It is again very important for the spectral output of the light source to match with the adhesive pattern of light absorption. The UV and visible light wavelengths used to cure adhesives comprises a small portion of the complete electromagnetic spectrum.
