Specimen Care

If you are not setting the specimen straight away, it can be safely kept in a sealed container away from moisture and insect pests. If you suspect something may be eating it, freeze the specimen for a few days. This will not damage the specimen.

If it is exposed to moisture and develops mould, this can be cleaned up easily with acetone if caught early.

If you have any questions please view our various help pages or contact us. We will be happy to assist.
