5/8" Open & Closed Swage Socket Wire Rope Assembly for Lifting and Rigging

Designed for lifting and rigging applications that benefit from different connection styles at each end, this assembly combines an open swage socket with a closed swage socket. Swaged terminations provide strong end connections and are resistant to wire fatigue where the cable enters the socket, making this configuration a practical choice for demanding wire rope assemblies.

Key Features

• 4.12 Ton Working Load Limit: Rated for applications within the assembly's marked working load limit and specified configuration.
• 5/8" Wire Rope Assembly: Built around 5/8" diameter wire rope for compatible lifting and rigging applications.
• Open & Closed Swage Sockets: Features an open socket with a pin on one end and a closed socket designed to accept a compatible pin or bolt on the other.
• Fatigue-Resistant Swage Terminations: Swage sockets provide good resistance to wire fatigue at the point where the cable and socket connect.

Common Applications

• Industrial rigging assemblies
• Lifting and material handling systems
• Equipment and machinery connections
• Construction rigging applications
• Applications requiring different socket connection styles at each end

Before You Choose a Sling

• Review Rated Capacity: Confirm the 4.12 ton working load limit and product specifications are suitable for your intended application.
• Confirm Connection Requirements: Verify the open and closed swage socket dimensions, pin or bolt sizes, and mating hardware are compatible with your rigging system.
• Compare Socket Options: Consider the connection style and termination type required for your application when choosing between open, closed, swage, and spelter socket assemblies.
